Your Right to Complain

You have the right to raise a complaint about any aspect of NHS care, treatment, or services. This right is protected under the NHS Constitution (see GOV.UK).

Complaints Process

Recent changes affect how complaints about primary care services (GPs, dentists, opticians, pharmacies) are handled:

You can still complain directly to the healthcare provider (e.g., our surgery).
Alternatively, you can complain to the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (LLR ICB), the commissioner responsible for these services.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome after contacting us we provide you with the contact details for The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman
